Need for Speed is a 2014 action thriller film based on the video game series by Electronic Arts. It is directed and co-edited by Scott Waugh, written by George and John Gatins, and stars Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots, Rami Malek, Ramón Rodríguez, Scott Mescudi, and Michael Keaton. In the story, street racer Tobey Marshall (Paul) sets off to race cross-country as a way of avenging his friend's death at the hands of a rival racer, Dino Brewster (Cooper).
